Registration is open every day from 7:00 a.m. until the close of the day’s sessions. There will be an early registration open on Sunday, March 19 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for those who would like to check in early.
A Hot Breakfast and morning beverages will be served starting at 7:00 a.m. for conference registrants.
30-minute refreshment breaks will be held each morning and afternoon (check schedule for more detail).
Lunch is 12:00-1:00 p.m. daily (except for Tuesday, 12:15-1:15 p.m.).

Eliezer Kanal is a technical manager at CERT who focuses on applying machine learning techniques to the cybersecurity domain. His team contributed to a wide variety of projects, including statistical visualization tools to assist with malware reverse engineering, metrics for the efficacy of cyber attack forecasting techniques, automatic identification of true positive/false positive labels for static code analysis vulnerabilities, and automated classification of netflow traffic types. He is one of SEI's experts on blockchain technology, partnering with researchers at CMU to develop more secure development languages for the creation of blockchain applications.

Prior to joining CERT, Eliezer worked at Highmark Inc., where he led a team of analysts and statisticians who provided data and statistical analysis for the entire Health Plan Operations division. He also worked at PNC Bank as a quantitative analyst in the corporate risk department and as a postdoctoral fellow at Carnegie Mellon University in behavioral neuroscience.

Eliezer earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on neural signal processing. He is a member of the IEEE and the AAAI.
